As a Technology Officer at dfcu Bank, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining our banking technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of systems that serve thousands of Ugandan customers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain banking hardware, software, and network systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for banking applications and systems
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades and patches
• Ensure compliance with banking security protocols and data protection regulations
• Collaborate with various departments to implement technology solutions that enhance banking services
• Document technical procedures and maintain system configuration records
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises
• Support digital banking platforms and mobile banking solutions

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognised Ugandan or international university
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in IT support, system administration, or related technology role
• Professional certifications in networking, cybersecurity, or relevant technologies are advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments and network infrastructure
• Experience with banking systems or financial technology is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is beneficial
