Talent Sourcing Specialist Job in Kampala - Compassion International Uganda

Compassion International Uganda is seeking a dedicated Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our mission to release children from poverty in Jesus' name by connecting talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities.

As a Talent Sourcing Specialist, you will be the strategic partner to our hiring managers and HR team, responsible for building a robust talent pipeline for our Kampala office and supporting our work across Uganda. You will use your expertise to find candidates who are not only skilled but also passionate about our Christian mission and commitment to child development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective talent sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for various roles.
• Source candidates through multiple channels including online job boards, professional networks, and local community partnerships.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate fit and qualifications.
• Coordinate the interview process between candidates and hiring managers.
• Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Maintain accurate data in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their team needs and departmental goals.
• Stay updated on Ugandan labour laws and recruitment best practices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or a similar HR role in Uganda.
• Strong knowledge of Ugandan employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with applicant tracking systems.
• Previous experience working in a non-profit organisation or Christian ministry is a significant advantage.
• A personal alignment with Compassion's Christian mission and values.
