Human Resources Coordinator Job at ME Uganda in Buliisa, Uganda

ME Uganda, a leading construction and engineering company, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Buliisa, Uganda. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding for new hires.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases in compliance with Ugandan labour laws.
• Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves).
• Support the administration of employee benefits, compensation, and performance management systems.
• Organise training sessions and workshops for staff development.
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Prepare HR reports and presentations for the management team.
• Ensure all HR activities align with company policies and Ugandan employment regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
• Good knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity.
