Compassion International, a leading global Christian child development organisation, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Kampala, Uganda. About the Role

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage the full recruitment life cycle for assigned positions. You will partner with hiring managers to develop effective strategies, build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates, and ensure an exceptional experience for every applicant. Your work will directly contribute to building a skilled and passionate team committed to transforming lives across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various positions within the organisation.
• Proactively source, screen, and build a pipeline of qualified candidates using various channels.
• Develop strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers to understand their team needs and create targeted recruitment plans.
• Ensure a positive, professional, and timely candidate experience from application to onboarding.
• Manage and maintain data in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure all hiring practices comply with Ugandan labour laws and organisational policies.
• Represent Compassion International at career fairs and networking events within the Ugandan community.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in full-cycle recruiting within Uganda.
• Experience recruiting for non-profit organisations, NGOs, or international organisations is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• A team player with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
• Familiarity with Ugandan employment law and recruitment best practices.
