Key Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment cycle including job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection processes for positions in Uganda.
- Manage comprehensive employee onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires.
- Assist in performance management processes and maintain accurate employee records.
- Support payroll administration and ensure timely processing in compliance with Ugandan regulations.
- Help implement and communicate HR policies and procedures across the organisation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ugandan labour laws and ensure organisational compliance.
- Provide administrative support for various HR functions and employee relations matters.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- 2-4 years of proven HR experience, preferably within the Ugandan market or multinational companies operating in Uganda.
- Solid understanding of Ugandan employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
