Compassion International Uganda is seeking a dedicated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Kampala. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our workforce and directly supporting our mission to release children from poverty in Uganda. As a key partner to hiring managers, you will ensure a positive candidate journey while sourcing and securing top talent for our life-changing work.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Partner with hiring managers across Uganda to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle for assigned roles, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and offer facilitation.
• Utilise applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other platforms to source qualified candidates, both locally and internationally.
• Ensure a positive, professional, and timely experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates for critical and recurring roles.
• Support hiring managers with interview coordination, candidate assessment, and selection processes.
• Uphold Compassion International's values and commitment to child protection in all hiring activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or HR in Uganda.
• Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity with Workday is a distinct advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, faith-based organisation.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
