PostBank Uganda, a leading financial institution, is seeking two (2) skilled and motivated Systems Administrators to join our dynamic IT team in Kampala. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our core banking systems and IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining system performance, implementing upgrades, and providing technical support to ensure uninterrupted banking services for our customers across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware, operating systems, and application software.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of all IT systems.
• Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls, to protect sensitive financial data.
• Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery operations in line with banking regulations.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users within the bank.
• Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute system upgrades and new technology implementations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and service records.

Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognised Ugandan or international university.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator, preferably within the banking, financial services, or a similar regulated sector in Uganda.
• Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE, CCNA) will be a strong added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux server environments, networking, and database management.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles relevant to the financial industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
