Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across the organisation
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently to minimise downtime
• Maintain accurate IT inventory records and documentation
• Support network infrastructure and ensure security protocols are followed
• Assist staff with IT-related queries and provide excellent customer service
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement system improvements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field from a recognised institution
• Minimum 3 years' proven experience in IT support roles in Uganda
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with networking protocols and IT security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
