About the Role:
As the Supervisor for Applications & IT Service Delivery, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, availability, and performance of the bank's core business applications and IT services. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional technical support and maintain high service standards that directly impact our customers and staff across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the IT applications support team to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Manage the performance, availability, and reliability of critical banking applications and systems.
• Implement and monitor IT service management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
• Liaise with software vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and service reports.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades, patches, and deployments with minimal disruption.
• Analyse service desk metrics to identify trends and implement proactive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with the bank's IT policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in IT application support or service delivery, preferably within the banking or financial services sector in Uganda.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
• Strong knowledge of banking applications, core banking systems, and ITIL frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
