About the Role

As a Supply Chain Coordinator at Diageo Uganda, you will be at the heart of our supply chain, managing critical logistics, inventory, and distribution processes. You will work closely with suppliers, warehouses, and internal teams to optimise our operations and support our business growth in the Ugandan market.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Coordinate and manage day-to-day logistics and distribution operations from our Kampala base.
• Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Liaise with local and regional suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Plan and optimise delivery schedules and routes for efficiency across Uganda.
• Utilise inventory management systems and logistics software to track performance.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving.
• Resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure all activities comply with Diageo's quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar coordination role within Uganda or the East African region.
• Practical knowledge of modern inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment.
