Shop Supervisor Jobs in Gulu and Mbale - Yalelo Uganda Careers

Yalelo Uganda, a leader in aquaculture and fresh fish production, is hiring two (2) dedicated Shop Supervisors to join our retail team. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced sales professionals to lead our shop operations in the vibrant towns of Gulu and Mbale. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring excellent customer service and a clean, organised sales environment.
• Lead, train, and motivate a team of shop attendants to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, and product displays to maximise sales and minimise waste.
• Handle cash management, daily sales reconciliations, and accurate record-keeping.
• Implement company sales strategies and promotions to drive customer footfall and revenue.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to maintain Yalelo's strong brand reputation.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports to the Area Manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, health, and safety standards.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Diploma in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in a retail supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices in the Ugandan market.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, and make sound decisions.
• Honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic are essential.
