Area Sales Representative Job in Busia - Insurance Sales Position

NIC General Insurance Company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative to join our team in Busia, Uganda. This is an excellent opportunity for a sales professional to build a rewarding career with one of Uganda's leading insurance providers.

As an Area Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving insurance sales growth in the Busia region. You will develop new business opportunities, maintain relationships with existing clients, and promote NIC General's comprehensive range of insurance products to individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in the Busia area
• Prospect for new clients and generate insurance leads through various channels
• Present and explain insurance products, benefits, and coverage options to potential clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities in Busia
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of all sales activities
• Participate in marketing campaigns and community events to promote NIC General
• Provide excellent customer service and follow-up support to clients

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Diploma in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
• At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in insurance or financial services
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently
• Valid riding permit (Class A) is an added advantage
• Knowledge of the Busia local market and business environment
• Computer literacy and familiarity with sales software
