Diageo Uganda, a world leader in premium drinks, is hiring a Sales Representative for the Central Region. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to join our dynamic team in Mbarara and play a key role in expanding our market presence across Central Uganda.
About the Role:
As a Sales Representative with Diageo, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing distribution channels in the Central Uganda region. You will be the face of our iconic brands, building strong relationships with distributors and ensuring our products reach every corner of the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Central Region.
- Build and manage strong, productive relationships with key distributors and retailers in Mbarara and surrounding areas.
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor stock levels, competitor activity, and ensure optimal product visibility.
- Plan and execute effective promotional activities and trade marketing initiatives.
- Gather and provide accurate market intelligence and sales reports to inform business strategy.
- Represent Diageo's values and maintain the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.
What We're Looking For (Requirements):
- A Diploma or higher in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
- Strong knowledge of the Central Uganda market, including Mbarara and its trade dynamics.
- A valid Ugandan driver's licence (Class B) and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A results-oriented mindset with a passion for winning in the market.
