Exciting Sales Representative Opportunity at Diageo Uganda

Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol with iconic brands enjoyed in more than 180 countries, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative for the Central Region of Uganda. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class organisation and build a rewarding career in sales within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Based in Kampala, you will play a pivotal role in driving our market presence and achieving ambitious growth targets across the Central Region.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute effective sales and territory plans to maximise coverage and revenue.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key distributors, retailers, and customers.
  • Conduct market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and emerging trends in Uganda's beverage market.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Provide accurate and timely market intelligence and sales feedback to the management team.
  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and merchandising standards at all points of sale.
  • Represent Diageo's portfolio of premium brands professionally in the marketplace.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • A minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the FMCG, beverages, or consumer goods industry in Uganda.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Ugandan driver's licence (Class B) and willingness to travel extensively within the Central Region.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a verifiable track record of meeting sales targets.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and able to work with minimal supervision.
