About the Role

As a Sales Manager at Airtel Uganda, you will lead our dedicated sales team to achieve ambitious targets in Uganda's competitive telecom market. You will be responsible for developing innovative sales strategies that resonate with the Ugandan market while managing key distributor relationships across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets
• Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team in Uganda
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key partners
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities in the Ugandan telecom sector
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments in Uganda
• Ensure team compliance with company policies and sales procedures

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in Uganda's telecommunications industry
• Demonstrated track record in team management and leadership
• Strong understanding of the Ugandan telecom market and consumer behaviour
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in sales analysis and reporting tools
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Uganda
