Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the Busia region.
• Prospect, identify, and acquire new clients for various general insurance products.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with both individual and corporate clients.
• Conduct market research and analysis to understand local insurance needs and competitor activity in Busia.
• Educate potential clients on the benefits and features of NIC General's insurance products.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
• Represent NIC General professionally at community events and business forums in the Busia area.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
• Proven 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in insurance, financial services, or FMCG within Uganda.
• Strong knowledge of the Busia business environment and community.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid riding permit (Class A) is highly desirable.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications.
