Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:
- Prospecting and generating new customer leads within your assigned region.
- Presenting and explaining Watu's financing products, terms, and benefits to potential customers.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, boda boda stages, and local businesses.
- Achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conducting market research to understand local needs and competition.
- Assisting customers with the application process and ensuring excellent service delivery.
- Collecting and submitting required customer documentation accurately and on time.
Requirements & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) or equivalent.
- Proven sales experience, preferably in financing, FMCG, or the boda boda sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Self-motivation, resilience, and a target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good knowledge of the local area you are applying for (North West, South East, North East, or South West regions).
- A valid riding permit (Class A) is a strong advantage.
