Senior Manager, Program Quality and Impact Job in Kampala - World Vision

World Vision International Uganda is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager for Program Quality and Impact to join our team in Kampala. This senior leadership role is critical for driving excellence, accountability, and measurable change in our development and humanitarian programmes across Uganda.

In this key position, you will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight to ensure all programmes align with World Vision's global standards and deliver maximum impact for the children and communities we serve. You will champion a culture of learning and evidence-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership for programme quality, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL) systems.
• Oversee the design and implementation of robust MEAL frameworks to track programme performance and impact.
• Lead capacity-building initiatives for staff and partners on programme quality standards and MEAL practices.
• Ensure programme accountability to beneficiaries, donors, and other stakeholders.
• Analyse programme data to generate insights, inform strategic decisions, and demonstrate impact.
• Prepare and present high-quality reports on programme quality and impact to senior management and donors.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Master's degree in International Development, Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in programme management, with a strong focus on MEAL.
• Proven expertise in designing and leading MEAL systems for large-scale development programmes in Uganda or similar contexts.
• Demonstrated strong leadership, team management, and capacity-building skills.
• Excellent analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Deep commitment to World Vision's mission, values, and Christian ethos.
