Regional Manager - Northern & North-Eastern Uganda (Remote)

Watu, a leading asset financing company in East Africa, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Manager to oversee our operations in Northern and North-Eastern Uganda. About the Role:
As the Regional Manager for the NO/NE region, you will be responsible for the overall performance, expansion, and management of Watu's business. You will develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence across your territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional business strategies to achieve sales, revenue, and market share targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field agents and operational staff within the Northern and North-Eastern regions.
- Oversee all aspects of customer relationship management, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and local partners.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a regional management, sales management, or similar leadership role, preferably in financial services, asset financing, or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of the Northern and North-Eastern Ugandan market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyse data, drive sales, and manage a P&L.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a problem-solving attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with CRM software is an advantage.
