Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Uganda is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Country Program Senior Management Team in Kampala. This is a senior leadership role critical for ensuring the financial health, compliance, and impactful programming of our operations across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Provide strategic leadership for all financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Uganda Country Program.
• Oversee and ensure the effectiveness of financial management systems, guaranteeing compliance with CRS policies and major donor regulations (including USAID, EU, and UN agencies).
• Lead the financial and administrative functions, including accounting, grants and contracts management, and procurement.
• Ensure the production of accurate, timely, and compliant financial reports for internal and donor use.
• Promote a strong culture of stewardship, accountability, and robust internal controls within the team and across the CP.
• Represent CRS Uganda in financial matters with donors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Develop talent and build the capacity of staff in financial management and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• A professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, and grants/contracts administration, preferably within an international NGO or similar development organisation.
• Demonstrated expertise in donor fund management and a strong understanding of complex donor rules and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local Ugandan languages (e.g., Luganda) is an added advantage.
