Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth for Old Mutual in Uganda.
• Lead market analysis to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends in Uganda's financial sector.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, corporates, and institutions.
• Oversee the business development team, providing leadership, mentorship, and direction.
• Manage high-level client relationships and drive client acquisition and retention initiatives.
• Prepare and present business plans, forecasts, and performance reports to senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business development, with a significant portion within the financial services, insurance, or banking industry in Uganda.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth and market expansion.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make strategic decisions.
• Established network of contacts within the Ugandan business community is highly desirable.
