Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive grants strategy to secure funding for NSSF's strategic initiatives and sustainability projects.
- Research, identify, and pursue grant opportunities from international donors, development partners, and government agencies relevant to Uganda's social security sector.
- Lead the preparation, writing, and submission of high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and applications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and government bodies in Uganda.
- Monitor and report on the implementation of funded projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and NSSF's sustainability goals.
- Analyse funding trends and advise management on opportunities to enhance the Fund's long-term financial sustainability.
- Work closely with various departments to align grant activities with NSSF's overall strategic objectives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in grants management, fundraising, or donor relations, preferably within Uganda's public sector, NGOs, or large corporate organisations.
- Demonstrated success in writing winning grant proposals and securing substantial funding.
- Excellent knowledge of the donor landscape and funding mechanisms relevant to Uganda.
- Strong project management, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication.
