Hariss International Ltd., a leading manufacturer of popular beverage brands in Uganda, is seeking a dedicated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to join our dynamic team in Kawempe, Kampala. We are looking for a professional with a strong background in customs administration or supply chain to drive our sales and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be passionate about consumer goods and possess the skills to expand our market reach and enhance brand visibility across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve company targets.
• Manage and coordinate product distribution, ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key clients.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and monitor competitor activity.
• Handle customs clearance and related documentation for imports and exports, leveraging knowledge of customs administration.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.
• Participate in trade promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any client issues promptly.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Customs Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field from a recognised Ugandan or international university.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing, or supply chain within the Ugandan FMCG sector is a strong advantage.
• Excellent understanding of Ugandan market dynamics and distribution networks.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be self-motivated, target-oriented, and possess a valid driver's licence.
