Exciting Rural Marketing Career Opportunity in Kampala

ITM Tanzania Limited is seeking three (3) dynamic and motivated Rural Marketers to join our expanding team in Kampala, Central Region. This is an excellent opportunity for marketing professionals passionate about connecting with communities and driving brand growth in Uganda's rural markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute rural marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and product penetration
• Conduct market research in rural areas to identify consumer needs and preferences
• Organise and manage product demonstrations, activations, and community engagement events
• Build and maintain strong relationships with rural distributors, retailers, and community leaders
• Monitor competitor activities and provide regular market intelligence reports
• Achieve sales targets and marketing objectives in assigned rural territories
• Train and support rural distribution networks on product knowledge and sales techniques

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in rural marketing, field sales, or community engagement
• Proven experience working in rural Ugandan communities
• Excellent communication skills in English and at least one local language (Luganda, Runyankole, etc.)
• Valid motorcycle riding permit and willingness to travel extensively in rural areas
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
