Risk and Compliance Officer Job at Joint Clinical Research Centre Uganda

The Joint Clinical Research Centre (JCRC) is seeking a qualified and experienced Risk and Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team in Uganda. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about healthcare compliance and risk management in the Ugandan context.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive risk management frameworks and compliance programmes
• Conduct regular risk assessments and compliance audits across all JCRC operations
• Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organisational adherence to Ugandan healthcare laws
• Prepare detailed compliance reports for management and regulatory bodies
• Train staff on compliance protocols, ethical standards, and risk mitigation strategies
• Investigate compliance issues and implement corrective actions
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations and industry best practices

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in risk management or compliance role
• Professional certification in risk management or compliance (added advantage)
• Strong understanding of Ugandan healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reporting skills
• Experience in healthcare or research institution preferred
