Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapy as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history accurately.
• Provide direct patient care, including wound dressing, hygiene assistance, and patient education.
• Collaborate with doctors, clinical officers, and other healthcare professionals in a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sterile environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Offer emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all nursing interventions and patient progress.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Diploma in Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda.
• Must be fully registered and licensed with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council (UNMC).
• A minimum of 3 years of proven post-registration nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and medication administration.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to professional ethics and continuous learning.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
