Laboratory Business Development Officer Job at C-Care Uganda

C-Care Uganda, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Laboratory Business Development Officer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to drive the growth and market presence of our advanced laboratory services across Uganda.

As a Laboratory Business Development Officer, you will be at the forefront of expanding our diagnostic services. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with healthcare facilities, clinics, and corporate clients, and develop strategies to increase laboratory test volumes and revenue. Your role is crucial in ensuring more Ugandans have access to C-Care's high-quality, reliable diagnostic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for C-Care's laboratory services.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hospitals, clinics, NGOs, and corporate wellness programmes.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to understand trends, competitor activity, and customer needs in Uganda's healthcare sector.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate with the laboratory and marketing teams to develop promotional materials and service packages.
• Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or laboratory services industry in Uganda.
• Strong understanding of the Ugandan healthcare landscape and laboratory diagnostics market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
