Health and Nutrition Specialist Job in Gulu, Uganda - World Vision

World Vision International Uganda is seeking an experienced Health and Nutrition Specialist to join our team in Gulu, Northern Uganda. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community health outcomes in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and guidance for health and nutrition programmes in Northern Uganda
• Support implementation of maternal and child health services and nutrition interventions
• Strengthen health systems and build capacity of local health workers
• Conduct monitoring and evaluation of health programmes
• Collaborate with district health teams and community stakeholders
• Ensure programme quality and adherence to national health standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Nutrition, or related field
• Minimum 5 years' experience in health/nutrition programming
• Proven experience working in Northern Uganda context
• Strong monitoring and evaluation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Understanding of Uganda's health system and policies
