Job Description
C-Care Uganda, a leading private healthcare provider, is seeking dedicated and qualified Medical Officers to join our team at the International Hospital Kampala (IHK) and our International Medical Centres (IMCs). Job Summary:
As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients across various units, wards, and outpatient clinics. Your primary role is to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable medical services while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. You will report directly to the Director of Medical Services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and histories.
- Perform conclusive diagnoses and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Provide clinical care and management for inpatients and outpatients.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards set by C-Care Uganda.
- Contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the medical service.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
- Must be fully registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC) with a valid practising licence.
- Proven clinical experience as a Medical Officer is a strong advantage.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
