About the Role

As a Dental Nurse at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental surgeons and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist the dental surgeon during various clinical procedures and treatments
• Prepare and organise dental treatment rooms before patient appointments
• Maintain strict infection control standards and sterilise dental instruments
• Provide chair-side assistance and support to patients during procedures
• Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
• Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
• Ensure the dental clinic environment remains clean and organised

Requirements and Qualifications

• Diploma in Dental Nursing from a recognised institution in Uganda
• Valid practicing licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a dental clinical setting
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Excellent infection control and sterilisation practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centred approach to care
