Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialised medical laboratory tests and procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols
• Analyse test results and ensure accurate documentation of findings
• Adhere to strict quality control and assurance standards in the laboratory
• Handle and process patient specimens with proper safety precautions
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide timely diagnostic information
• Participate in laboratory inventory management and supply ordering
• Follow all biosafety and infection control guidelines

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognised institution
• Valid practising licence from Allied Health Professionals Council Uganda
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols
• Proficiency in using modern laboratory equipment and information systems
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
