World Vision International is seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager for Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM) to lead a critical nutrition programme in Uganda. This is a senior-level opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families across the country. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead the overall planning, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting for the IMAM project in Uganda.
- Ensure strict compliance with all donor requirements, national Ministry of Health guidelines, and World Vision standards.
- Coordinate effectively with key government agencies (like the Ministry of Health), district local governments, and partner organisations to ensure programme alignment and impact.
- Manage project resources efficiently and provide strong technical oversight on IMAM protocols and implementation.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build the capacity of project staff and local partners in IMAM delivery.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in managing nutrition or public health programmes, preferably within emergency or development contexts in Uganda or the East Africa region.
- Strong knowledge of Uganda's IMAM protocols, national nutrition policies, and the public health system.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, work planning, and donor reporting.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder coordination and partnership management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
