Job Summary:
As a Dispenser at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. You will be responsible for the accurate preparation, documentation, and dispensing of medications and medical supplies to both hospital units and outpatients. Your professional demeanour and excellent communication skills will ensure patients receive proper counselling to improve their treatment adherence and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed drugs and medical supplies
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all pharmacy transactions
• Provide clear and empathetic counselling to patients on medication usage
• Ensure proper storage and inventory management of pharmaceutical products
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital protocols
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional pharmacy environment
• Participate in continuous professional development and training

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
• Valid practising licence from the Allied Health Professionals Council
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (hospital setting preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical products and dispensing procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for patients
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Computer literacy for documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
