Yalelo Uganda, a leader in aquaculture and fish farming, is seeking two (2) dedicated and experienced Processing Supervisors to join our team at our Butembe-Buikwe facility. As a Processing Supervisor, you will play a critical role in overseeing our daily fish processing operations. You will ensure efficiency, maintain the highest standards of quality and hygiene, and lead a team to meet production targets. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the fish processing line to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and enforce strict quality control, food safety, and hygiene standards (HACCP principles).
• Train, motivate, and manage processing line staff to achieve daily production targets.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of processing equipment.
• Prepare daily production reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Identify areas for process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to and promoting occupational health and safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Diploma or higher in Food Science & Technology, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a supervisory role within a food processing or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team effectively.
• Computer literacy for basic reporting.
