Yalelo Uganda, a leading aquaculture and fish processing company, is seeking two (2) dedicated and experienced Processing Supervisors to join our dynamic team at our Butembe-Buikwe facility. This is an excellent full-time opportunity for professionals passionate about food production, quality control, and team leadership within Uganda's growing agro-processing sector.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee daily operations on the fish processing line to ensure efficiency, safety, and hygiene standards are met.
• Supervise, train, and motivate a team of processing line workers to achieve daily production targets.
• Monitor and enforce strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and HACCP protocols.
• Conduct quality control checks at various stages of processing to ensure the final product meets Yalelo's high-quality standards.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure all processing equipment is functioning correctly and schedule preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production records, including yields, waste, and downtime reports.
• Ensure a safe working environment by promoting and adhering to all occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Manage inventory of packaging materials and other supplies required for the processing line.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Food Science & Technology, Fisheries, Agriculture, Production Management, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
• At least 3 years of hands-on supervisory experience in a food processing, manufacturing, or FMCG production environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety management systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a target-driven environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Willingness to work in Butembe-Buikwe, Uganda.
