Job Summary

As a Dispenser at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations by ensuring accurate preparation, documentation, and dispensing of medications and medical supplies to both hospital units and direct clients. Your professional demeanor and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing quality patient counselling to improve treatment adherence and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications and medical supplies
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all dispensed items
• Provide clear and empathetic counselling to patients on medication usage
• Ensure proper storage and inventory management of pharmaceutical products
• Collaborate with other hospital units to fulfil supply requests
• Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and C-Care Uganda protocols
• Maintain a clean and organised pharmacy environment

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy or related field from a recognised institution
• Valid practicing license from the Uganda Pharmacy Board
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a dispenser in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and their proper usage
• Computer literacy for documentation purposes
• Professional, empathetic approach to patient care
