Compassion International Uganda is seeking a dedicated and experienced Partnership Facilitator to join our team in Kampala. This is a vital role within our Christian child development organisation, where you will serve as the primary link between Compassion and our local church partners across Uganda. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Act as the main liaison and relationship manager between Compassion International and our local church partners in Uganda
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and technical support to partner churches to enhance their programme implementation
- Monitor and evaluate holistic child development programmes to ensure quality standards and impact measurement
- Facilitate training sessions and capacity-building workshops for church partners on child development methodologies
- Ensure partners have adequate resources, materials, and knowledge to effectively deliver Compassion's programme model
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor programme implementation and provide on-site support
- Prepare detailed reports on partnership health, programme progress, and child development outcomes
- Collaborate with other Compassion departments to ensure integrated support for church partners
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Community Development, or related field from a recognised Ugandan institution
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in community development, NGO partnership management, or programme coordination in Uganda
- Strong understanding of the Ugandan context and experience working with local churches or faith-based organisations
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation of community development programmes
- Ability to travel frequently within Uganda to visit church partners
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid riding permit (Class A) is an added advantage
