External Relations Associate Job in Kenya - NGO Careers

Educate!, a leading youth skills development organisation, is seeking a motivated External Relations Associate to join our team in Kenya. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders
• Support the planning and execution of external events, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
• Prepare compelling reports, presentations, and communication materials for external audiences
• Assist in managing donor relations and partnership communications
• Conduct research on relevant policy developments and sector trends in Kenya and East Africa
• Support fundraising initiatives and proposal development processes
• Represent Educate! at relevant forums and networking events
Requirements & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Communications, Development Studies, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in external relations, partnerships, or communications role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Swahili proficiency is an added advantage)
• Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
• Understanding of the Kenyan development sector and education landscape
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital communication tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team
