  • Collect, clean, analyse, and synthesise programme data to track performance against targets and indicators.
  • Design and support the deployment of data collection tools, including electronic systems, and manage programme databases.
  • Conduct routine Data Quality Assessments (DQAs) to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all reported information.
  • Build the capacity of programme staff through training on M&E methodologies, data management, and reporting processes.
  • Prepare and contribute to high-quality donor reports, programme presentations, and documentation of lessons learned.
  • Support programme teams in utilising data for strategic planning and adaptive management.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within the public health sector in Uganda or the East African region.
  • Proven technical skills in data analysis and visualisation using software like Microsoft Excel (advanced), SPSS, STATA, or R.
  • Practical experience with database management systems (e.g., DHIS2, Access) and electronic data collection tools (e.g., ODK, KoboToolbox, SurveyCTO).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present complex data to diverse audiences.
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
