Job Summary
As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients across our units, wards, and clinics. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient, effective, and profitable medical services while upholding the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction. You will report directly to the Director of Medical Services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient consultations, examinations, and diagnoses.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients.
• Provide clinical care and management for in-patients and out-patients.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, specialists, and support staff.
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards.
• Participate in continuous medical education and training programmes.
• Contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the medical service.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution.
• Full registration and a valid annual practising licence from the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council (UMDPC).
• Proven clinical experience as a Medical Officer. Experience in a private hospital setting is an added advantage.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to professional development and high ethical standards.
