Job Summary
As a Medical Officer at C-Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients across our hospital units, wards, and outpatient clinics. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient, effective, and patient-centred medical services that uphold C-Care's reputation for excellence in Ugandan healthcare.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Provide clinical care and management for patients in assigned units, wards, or clinics
- Ensure accurate and timely medical documentation and record-keeping
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including specialists, nurses, and technicians
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and continuous medical education sessions
- Adhere to established clinical protocols, guidelines, and quality standards
- Contribute to the efficient and profitable operation of medical services
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold medical ethics at all times
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent from a recognised institution
- Full registration with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council
- Valid annual practicing licence from the Uganda Medical Council
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred)
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Commitment to continuous professional development
