Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialised medical laboratory tests and procedures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment according to established protocols
• Analyse test results and prepare accurate reports for medical practitioners
• Ensure strict adherence to quality control and safety standards in the laboratory
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all laboratory activities
• Assist in inventory management of laboratory supplies and reagents
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programmes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognised institution
• Valid practising licence from Allied Health Professionals Council of Uganda
• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in haematology, microbiology, biochemistry, and histopathology procedures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Computer literacy for laboratory information management systems
