Laboratory Technologist Job in Jinja - PATH Uganda (Diploma Required)

Key Responsibilities:
As a Laboratory Technologist with PATH Uganda, you will be responsible for:

• Processing and analysing patient samples with accuracy and efficiency.
• Performing rigorous quality control procedures to ensure reliable test results.
• Conducting routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Accurately recording and managing laboratory data and patient information.
• Strictly adhering to established laboratory safety protocols and biohazard guidelines.
• Collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must possess:

• A Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognised institution.
• A valid annual practising license from the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) of Uganda.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in a medical laboratory setting.
• Proven knowledge and practical application of laboratory safety protocols and standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
