Job Summary

As a Dispenser at C-Care Uganda, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare, document, and dispense medications and medical supplies to various hospital units and directly to patients. You will ensure accurate medication management while providing exceptional patient counselling to improve treatment adherence and health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescribed medications and medical supplies
• Maintain proper documentation and records of all dispensed items
• Provide clear and empathetic counselling to patients about medication usage
• Coordinate with other hospital departments to ensure timely supply of medications
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage of drugs
• Adhere to all healthcare regulations and C-Care Uganda protocols
• Participate in continuous professional development activities

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences from a recognised institution
• Valid practicing license from the Uganda Pharmacy Board
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in Uganda
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing
• Professional demeanor with empathy for patients
• Knowledge of Ugandan pharmaceutical regulations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
