East African Beverages Ltd, a leading player in Uganda's dynamic beverage sector, is seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Manager to join our team in Jinja, Eastern Region. This is a senior-level role offering a competitive monthly salary of UGX 5,000,000 to 6,500,000 for the right candidate.

About the Role

As our Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the market presence of our popular beverage products across Uganda and the wider East African region. You will lead strategic initiatives to drive brand growth, engage consumers, and outperform competitors in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive marketing strategies and annual plans for our beverage portfolio.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, and new opportunities in the Ugandan and regional markets.
• Plan, manage, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, traditional, and below-the-line channels.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and high performance.
• Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment (ROI).
• Collaborate with sales, production, and distribution teams to ensure alignment and maximise product visibility and sales.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign performance and market share.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven marketing experience, preferably within the FMCG, beverage, or consumer goods industry in Uganda.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and campaign management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a results-oriented approach.
