Marketing Executive Job in Mbarara - SeaOwl Group

SeaOwl Group, a prominent organisation in Uganda, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Executive to join our team in Mbarara. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative marketing professional to drive impactful campaigns and contribute to our growth in the region.

About the Role:
As a Marketing Executive, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing our marketing strategy. You will play a key role in enhancing our brand presence, engaging with our audience, and analysing market trends to identify new opportunities. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with a passion for both traditional and digital marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Manage and grow our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram) to increase engagement and followers.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute promotional events, product launches, and corporate functions.
• Create compelling marketing content for various channels, including digital platforms, print, and email.
• Monitor and report on the performance of all marketing campaigns, using data to inform future strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure brand consistency.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field from a recognised institution.
• Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within Uganda or the East African market.
• Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing software).
• Excellent creativity and innovation skills with a strong portfolio of past campaigns.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
