About the Role

As a Field Marketing Intern for EV, you will be on the front lines, engaging directly with potential customers in communities across your assigned location. You will play a crucial role in raising awareness, generating leads, and driving the adoption of Watu's electric vehicle financing solutions. This position is ideal for recent graduates or students seeking practical marketing experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Conduct field marketing activities and community outreach in assigned zones (Kampala, Luwero, Jinja, or Mukono).
• Educate potential customers on the benefits and features of electric vehicles and Watu's financing options.
• Generate qualified leads and assist in organising marketing events and demonstrations.
• Collect market intelligence and customer feedback to support marketing strategies.
• Distribute marketing materials and ensure brand visibility in your territory.
• Work closely with the sales and marketing team to achieve set targets.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• A recent graduate or final-year student in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Luganda or other local languages.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in the field.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles; a passion for sales is an added advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned location.
• Familiarity with the local community and transport sector is highly beneficial.
