This is a senior leadership role where you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that drive brand growth, customer engagement, and revenue across Uganda. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop, implement, and manage the overall marketing strategy and annual marketing plan for SUNDA International.
- Lead end-to-end marketing campaigns, from conceptualisation and budgeting to execution and performance analysis.
- Manage brand positioning and messaging to ensure consistency and strength in the Ugandan market.
- Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content creation.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, trends, and competitor activities within Uganda.
- Manage the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring optimal allocation and return on investment (ROI).
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and other departments to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
- Analyse campaign performance using relevant metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field from a recognised institution.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a marketing management role, preferably within Uganda or the East African region.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
- In-depth knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing channels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and experience in team management.
- Creative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
