As a Logistics Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. You will work within the supply chain and logistics department, ensuring operations run smoothly and contribute to Hima Cement's mission of providing quality building solutions across Uganda.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating daily logistics and transportation activities.
• Support documentation processes for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Help track shipments and update logistics records accurately.
• Liaise with warehouse teams and transport providers.
• Contribute to maintaining inventory records and stock levels.
• Assist in resolving any minor logistical issues or delays.
• Ensure compliance with company and safety procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain role is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
