About PIBID Uganda
PIBID is at the forefront of banana industrial development in Uganda. Our work focuses on providing accessible technologies, improving rural infrastructure for processed banana products, and developing innovative banana-based products like Raw Tooke Flour and Instant Tooke Flour. With operations in both Kampala and Bushenyi district, we offer a unique opportunity to work on nationally impactful projects.

Available Opportunities & Project Units
We are recruiting for various roles across our multiple project units. Successful candidates will join dynamic teams in one of the following areas:

• Project Secretariat: Coordination and administrative support.
• Industrial Technology Park: Hands-on work with processing technologies.
• Business & Marketing: Commercialisation and market development for banana products.
• Value Addition & Quality Control: Product development and standards assurance.
• Production: Overseeing the manufacturing of banana-based products.
• Research & Training: Agricultural research, innovation, and capacity building.

Key Requirements for Applicants

• Commitment to agricultural development and value addition in Uganda.
• Relevant academic qualifications in agriculture, food science, business, engineering, or related fields.
• Strong work ethic, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in both Kampala and Bushenyi as required by the role.
• Prior experience in a related field is an added advantage.
